Using Accents in Flashcards

A little problem I'm having with the flashcards:
In the Recall section, where the accented letters are available to add in, I noticed there aren't any '¿' or '¡' symbols - which is a pain if the phrase in question calls for one of them. And if you don't add them, it counts as an incorrect answer.
Anyone know how to add them? Thanks (I'm using a PC, if that helps)

On the mac, the quick keys for special characters don't work either, but only on the recall section of the flashcards. The quick keys work on every other part of the site.
