On a PC:

á = alt + 160 é = alt + 130 í = alt + 161 ó = alt+ 162 ú = alt + 163

The usual method I use for caps { [ctrl + ' ] [SHIFT + (theletter) ] } didn't work here.

This is helpful! I have both a mac and pc, and kept finding that I'd start something on my pc and have to switch to the mac because I didn't know the codes. Thanks! - - rheit, Sep 26, 2012

If you are using a mac, it's easy to accent letters. Simply hold down option+e, release, and type the vowel that you want accented. If you need a capped vowel, option+e, release, shift+desired vowel. The ñ requires option+n, n, the ¿ requires option+shift+?. Not a mac? Not so simple!

Try clicking here

It is "hidden" in our extensive Reference Section.

Which for some reason I can't find easily anymore.

Also, if the word is in the SpanishDict system, you are able to type the English word and then press the translate button to the right. Just make sure it gives you the right translation before moving on to the next word.
