Apple

Manzana

Cordobesa is the official corrector of the Spanish sentences and since there are many native English speakers here, most of us can offer great suggestions to the English sentences. I will do my best to go through them all, too. Please correct your posts according to Cordobesa's suggestions.

  • ¡Usa tus propias palabras!

Sometimes, I am so busy at work that I only have enough time to eat an apple at lunch.

I like yellow apples much more than red ones.

When I smell apple pie, I think of my youth and my grandmother.

No wonder mother Eve couldn't say no to this kind of fruit. And she hadn't even tasted any apple cake!

Thanks to Annie:

When I read about the architecture history of Barcelona, I've learned that besides apple, "Manzana" also means block of houses. Here it is, the picture of "manzanas" of Barcelona.

Gracias a Cordy:

The best apples are the ones freshly picked.

Here in Holland applesauce is a very popular food for all ages, but when I was in Colombia people could not believe that adults eat babyfood over here.

Looks can be deceiving. Just ask Snow White to tell you the story of the apple.

Apples with peanut butter are God's gift to mankind.
