'La ensalada' is a feminine noun, so it will take the feminine direct object pronoun: la
Because it is an affirmative command ('Prepare usted'), the pronoun is attatched:
Prepárela usted
Don't forget to place an accent over the 'a' in order to maintain the original stress.
