Attaching 'se' to the nostros form of verbs

What is the rule for attaching 'se' to verbs that end with an 's' such as nosotros verbs? For example, the subjunctive verb 'acostemos' (we go to bed). Would acostemosse be correct or is 'se' not attached to words that end in 's' such as 'acostemos se'? Or would one of the double 's' be dropped such a 'acostemose'?

Great question. Se is attached to the third person (singular or plural). Example:

Ellos se acuestan or Ella se acuesta (Present indicative) ... They go to bed / She goes to bed

Acuéstense! or Acuéstese (Imperative) ... You (plural) go to bed / You (formal singular as in usted) go to bed!

Que se acuesten / Que se acueste (Subjunctive) ... That they go to bed / That he go to bed or That you (formal, singular) go to be

Nos is attached to the first person plural. In your example it would be:

Que nos acostemos (Subjunctive).. That we go to bed. Example: It's required that we go to bed at 10 pm. Se requiere que nos acostemos a las 10 pm.

Acostémonos (Imperative) Let's go to bed. Example: Ya es tarde, acostémonos. It's late. Let's go to bed
