1) nonliving = A pencil is a nonliving thing. Good.
2) nutrients = people needs nutrients food for their bodies. People need nutrient dense food for their bodies. People need the nutrients in food for their bodies. People need nutrients for their bodies. All of these would work if nutrients is the word you are trying to use. Otherwise you'd have to change "nutrients" People need nutritious food for their bodies.
3) organism = A plant is an organism. Good.
4) consume = I would love to consume an apple. Consume is not usually used in this manner. Yes, it does kind of mean the same thing, but I would prefer to eat an apple. Consuming food is more like eating in large quantities. I am consumed by guilt. I would use it this way if I were feeling extremely guilty. A fire can consume a building, reducing it to nothing.
5) environment = A beautiful park is the best environment for me to hang out with my friends and ride bicycles. I'd use place instead of environment. If environment is the word you want to use, I'll give you some examples. Good parents provide a stable environment for their kids. You'll sometimes see kids raised in a bad environment. These both relate to the circumstances or conditions by which one is surrounded. Other than this, we tend to use it more often in relation to our physical environment, for example, in a science class.
6) interact = I like the way how my friend and I are being able to interact with each other. Interact is the action that occurs between two people, talking to each other, teasing each other, that is all interaction. I like the way my friend and I are able to interact with each other. I like how my friend and I are able to interact. You would want to choose between "the way" and "how". Either would work, but they don't work together. Also, since interact means something going on between two or more people, you wouldn't need to add the rest of the sentence.
7)similar = Those twins looks very similar. Those twins look very similar. In English, it looks like the subject and verb don't agree, because when one has an "s", the other tends not to. "twins look" "dad sings" "computers break" "he breaks" You can see that I keep moving the s from the end of one word, to the end of the other word.
8) survive= We can not survive with out oxygen and foods. We cannot survive without oxygen and food.
I enjoy your sentences. It's fun for me to try to find a way to explain it that you will understand. I taught 7th grade English for many years. Let me know if you still don't understand interact and I'll find another way to explain it.
Thank you so much for your help and time. I have to to use those words to make sentences. I don't think I should change the words When I make the sentences?
Thank you so much! Now I understand what does interact mean. I hope I will do good on my quiz tomorrow (: Thanks again I appreciate it (: I speak English as a second language. I've been living in America almost 5 years now, but sadly, my English is not perfect yet. Is there any ways that I can improve my English? Since your an English teacher I hope you might have some ideas for me=)
1) nonliving = A pencil is a non-living thing.
2) nutrients = People need nutritious foods for their bodies.
4) consume = I would love to consume an apple. (Grammar is correct but "I would love to eat an apple" sounds more appropriate)
5) environment = A beautiful park is the best environment for me to hang out with my friends and ride bicycles. (Again grammar is correct but using "place" instead of "environment" sounds better especially when used in an informal situation)
7)similar = Those twins look very similar.
8) survive= We cannot survive without oxygen and food. ("cannot" is used more commonly now in modern literature instead of "can not" although both are correct)
Rest are good.
