Trouble Pronouncing Words

I'm trying to learn Spanish and I'm having a lot of trouble with pronouncing words. Does anyone know of a good Spanish pronunciation dictionary? I'm not looking for a translation dictionary. I'm looking for something where I can look up a word (for instance, escurreplatos) and it will show me how to break it into syllables and how to pronounce it. I've Googled this but can't find such a dictionary. I don't even care if it defines the word, just tells me how to pronounce it.

Gracias.

Hi Zacx,

I put your word into the SpanishDict dictionary/translator, and it came up, with an option to hear how the word is pronounced, by clicking on the sound icon, to the right of the word.

Then below the word, there is the pronunciation broken down into syllables.

Is this what you are hoping to find?

Check it out.

Gracias. I have used SpanishDict's (and Forvo.com's) translate site with good results. I guess I was looking for a paper dictionary that had the same thing. - Zacx, Sep 11, 2012
Glad this is helpful to you. If I come across something in book form, I will contact you with the info.... at least this one is free. - yahvey_hoffman, Sep 13, 2012
I continue to look for one. I think online is fine. I love SpanishDict.com but their dictionary/translator is Castilian Spanish (as spoken in Spain) (e.g., pronounciations for soft "c" is always "the." I'm looking for Western Hemisphere solution. - Zacx, Oct 30, 2012
