When do we use 'ship' in English?
My Spanish speaking friend asked me why, in English, do we put SHIP at the end of some words. Ex: relation /relationship and apprentice / apprenticeship. I know when to use it but I do not know why. he does not know on what occasions to use it. Can someone please give me an explanation to help him?
