No sound on Spanish¡D!ct

No sound on Spanish¡D!ct

When I click on the sound (speaker) icon in a translation of a word in Span¡shD!ct, I do not get any sound. Same thing when I click on the ads on this site. I used to get the pronounciations when I clicked on the speaker icon and got sound even if the cursor just hovered over an ad. The lack of sound started maybe close to a week ago. The sound on my computer works when playing music files and on other websites whether I use the speakers or the headphones. I use the headphones more than the speakers particularly when I am studying Spanish. I see another post about a problem with videos on this website. I also have that same problem. When I click a video it seems to just disappear. The videos were working for me until about the time the sound problem started.

I am using an HP Pavillion P6716f with Windows 7 home premium, Realtek sound driver(s), IE9.

Any Ideas on a fix?

I had that problem with the sound last week (the sound still worked on Skype, but not on this site). First, I restarted the computer. I also tried another browser. I cleaned up the computer with CCleaner. If you are using a headset, try it without the headset. If these things don't work, write to Feedback on the right sidebar.
