Campden tablets

Question

"Campden tablets". It is a sterilising agent. I think that potassium metabisulphite is the main ingredient. What are they called in Spanish ?

I don't know but you could look it up in the english to spanish transaltion.

Hola amigo,

Well I'm afraid I can't offer too much help in the chemistry area, but I discovered "sodium metasulphite" to be "sodio metabisulfite". Hopefully that helps in some sort. I believe if Campden is a proper noun (name) it wouldn't translate and would result in "pastilla de Campden" for "Campden tablets".
