How Would I write these sentences using double object pronouns in spanish?

I'm extremely confused and not sure how to phrase these. But I did try to do them, but I'm pretty sure they all are messed up/incorrect.

Le sirvo un té a la señora. - Me lo sirvo?? Piden una tarta de chocolate para ti. - Te para lo piden??? Les trae más servilletas a Miriam y Mariana. - Se trae los Yo compro un helado para Julia. - Me lo compro Martín pide chuletas de cerdo para ti. - Se lo para pide Javier y Lucía buscan unos restaurantes para ellos.- Se los buscan El camarero sirve patatas a esos chicos. - Se los sirve

And then these you have to use the words in the parentheses to make the sentence. And I got really confused with these. (helado, para usted) ______ _______ busca. (sopa, a la señora Plata) _______ _______sirve.

I think the idea of this exercise is not to change the verb but to practice using direct and indirect object pronouns.

A link on how to use indirect and direct object pronouns can be found here:

Indirect and direct objects

Now back to your exercise:

Le sirvo un té a la señora. - Se lo sirvo. Broken down: Se (to her-- indirect); lo (a tea--direct). Note: the correct indirect object form for “to her” should actually be “le”, but it’s changed to “se” because “le lo” sounds awkward. You will never her “Le lo sirvo”.

Piden una tarta de chocolate para ti. - Te la piden. Broken down: Te (to you--indirect); la (the cake--direct)

Les trae más servilletas a Miriam y Mariana. - Se las trae. Broken down: Se (to them--indirect); las (the napkins--direct)

Yo compro un helado para Julia. - Se lo compro. Broken down: Se (to her--indirect); lo (the ice cream--direct). Again, never use “le lo” but “se lo”.

Martín pide chuletas de cerdo para ti. - Te las pide. Broken down: Te (to you--indirect); las (the pork chops--direct)

Javier y Lucía buscan unos restaurantes para ellos.- Se los buscan—Perfect. Broken down: Se (to them—indirect) ; los (the restaurants, indirect).

El camarero sirve patatas a esos chicos. - Se las sirve (same as above, but the indirect object is feminine.. las patatas, hence you need to you las instead of los)

Please clarify your exercise below. It’s not clear. Try to type each question in a separate line.

And then these you have to use the words in the parentheses to make the sentence. And I got really confused with these. (helado, para usted) ______ _______ busca. (sopa, a la señora Plata) _______ _______sirve.

So do I need to switch out the la in Añades sal a la sopa. = Se la añades.and make it something else?

Traes la sopa para mi hermana. Se le traes. - so it needs to be Se la traes, correct?

Because I think I can only use each once, and I still have the word lo I can use, so should I switch it out for la in the first one or use le in the first one?

Both are correct. La sal (la is the direct object) and la sopa is the same thing. Good job. Lo is only used in direct object pronouns that replace masculine nouns. Ex. Se lo añades (el tomate) - francobollo, Sep 3, 2012

So would the correct answers for these sentences be:

Añades sal a la sopa. = Se la añades.

Pides postre para nosotros. Nos lo pides

Traes la cuenta para mí. Me la traes

Traes la sopa para mi hermana. Se le traes.

Do you have any more references of where I can go practice this or where I can learn more about it?

All correct except # 4. It should be "Se la traes". La is the direct object pronoun that replaces la sopa. - francobollo, Sep 3, 2012

You have to use the words in the parentheses to make the sentence apparently from what it sayso n the sheet. so the first one is: (helado, para usted) ______ _______ busca.

And then the second one is (sopa, a la señora Plata) _______ _______sirve.

So basically the action like sirvo or something comes all the way at the end? and then you put the objects in front?
