'para dónde va' vs 'a dónde va'

For "where are you going?" I was taught to use "a dónde va?", but recently I heard "para dónde va?". Is there any difference between the two?

Hi Daniel -- There's no difference. Both mean where are you going? There's even a third option "Dónde va?
