The advertisments start running by themselves and I can't stop them. It is hard to study with them talking to me.

A necessary evil I'm afraid. It's how the site makes its money, otherwise they would have to charge us.

I agree with Ranman! The ads are running themselves, sometimes loudly depending on my volume, and I don't like when they intrude on my peace!
I send a note to feedback because sometimes the site owners aren't aware of how the ads actually affect the site.
