Today write sentences with "go round"
Hello everyone. I think phrasal verbs are some of the most difficult to many English learners because most of them do not have a literal translation. So I have decided to learn one or two phrasal verbs every day.
I know you can help me with that, but you also need to learn Spanish, so please write the sentence in English using the PV then try it in Spanish. Then I will correct your sentence (the Spanish sentence, of course); we will help each other out.
If you´re not sure about how to translate your sentence, just explain (in English) what your Pv means and I will help with your translation.
Today let's write sentences using the phrasal verb:
"Go round"
1.-Definition: to spin like a wheel;Compare: revolve, rotate
2.-Definition: If there is enough of something to go round, there is enough for everyone in a group of people.

3.-Definition(behave badly): to spend your time behaving in the stated way[+ -ing verb]

4.-Definition(visit): to visit someone in their home.

5.-Definition: to travel to all, or the main, parts of a place that you are visiting in order to find out what it is like or to learn about it.

6.-Defnition(somewhere): to go or be given from one person to another, or to move from one place to another.
A nasty flu bug's going round (the school) at the moment.
There's a rumour going round (the village) that they're having an affair.
7.-Definition(go/run round in circles): to keep doing or talking about the same thing without achieving anything.
The discussion kept going round in circles.
8.-Definition(be/go round the twist): to be, become or make someone else become angry or unable to behave in a reasonable way.
If I'd stayed there any longer, I'd have gone round the twist.
I've been running round in circles trying to get all the reports finished before the meeting.
