Today write sentences with "grow out"

Hello everyone. I think phrasal verbs are some of the most difficult to many English learners because most of them do not have a literal translation. So I have decided to learn one or two phrasal verbs every day.

I know you can help me with that, but you also need to learn Spanish, so please write the sentence in English using the PV then try it in Spanish. Then I will correct your sentence (the Spanish sentence, of course); we will help each other out.

If you´re not sure about how to translate your sentence, just explain (in English) what your Pv means and I will help with your translation.

Today let's write sentences using the phrasal verb:

"Grow out"

1.-Definition(grow out of sth, clothes): If children grow out of clothes, they become too big to fit into them.

As children get bigger, they grow out of their clothes.

I have to buy Rose new clothes, she's grown out of all his clothes.

2.-Definition(grow out of sth, interest): If you grow out of an interest or way of behaving, you stop having or doing it as you become older.

He wants to join the army when he leaves school, but I hope he'll grow out of the idea.

Most children grow out of wetting the bed by the age of seven or eight.

3.-Definition(grow out of sth, idea): If an idea grows out of another one, it develops from it.

The idea for the story grew out of a strange experience I had last year.

All inventions grow out of necessity.

As a child, I dreamed that I was going to be a baseball hero, but I grew out of it.

If I get a bad haircut, I tell myself, "it's okay, it will grow out".

Si consigo una corta de pelo mala, cuento si misma, "está bien, crecerá.
