Need help translating a class information into spanish. Can someone please help me? How would this read in spanish?

Question

This is a class for first time computer users. The assignments acquaint the user with the basics of a personal computer and Windows, introduce the use of email, the use of a Web browser and basic search techniques using a Web browser.

A few corrections (hopefully others can improve upon this):

Este es un curso para los usuarios de computadoras de la primera vez. Las asignaciones familiarizará el usuario con los conceptos básicos de computadoras personales y Windows, introducir el uso de correo electrónico, el uso de técnicas de búsqueda básica utilizando un navegador Web...

A couple of notes:

1. Keep the use of the word "computer" consistent. I have heard that "ordenador" is more common in Spain whereas "computadora" is more common in the Americas.

2. I am not sure about the word choice for "assignments." If a native-speaker could weigh in on that, that would be great.

3. I am also not sure about "introducir" in this case as I know it can be a bit of a trickster. I would like someone else's input on that as well.
