Responding to a question

Question

If one asks a question "Qué preparas tú? would one respond in "yo" form?

Also if one asks "Qué miran ustedes? Would one would reply in the "nosotros form.?"

I just want to double check.

Yes in both cases, there is no other way to my knowledge.

If one asks a question "Qué preparas tú? would one respond in "yo" form? >> I think that the correct question should be ¿Qué es lo que estás preparando? , and the correct awser should be Esoy preparando.....

Also if one asks "Qué miran ustedes? Would one would reply in the "nosotros form.?">> The question its not bad but I would ask ¿Qué es lo que miran?

yes, But you can anwer yo preparo or preparo ..... Nosotros miramos or miramos...
