"Muchísimas gracias POR el anuncio." Everyone else seems to have caught the other minor things. Good job! Keep studying! :D - joshhh317, Aug 17, 2012

It's important to have the accents/punctuation/tildes correct, I see you took care to include them, thanks. - yahvey_hoffman, Aug 16, 2012
As I need to work on that in particular. - yahvey_hoffman, Aug 16, 2012
I highly recommend it, I've had it with native spanish-speakers butchering the language with impunity, foreign learners should show them how it's done. - diagonx, Aug 17, 2012
YES! Accent marks, punctuation, etc., are crucial to learning Spanish correctly and using it as a properly educated person. - --Mariana--, Aug 17, 2012

Silvia, your post is not helpful for two main reasons,

  • 1) you are not helping English learners with you incorrect punctuation, capitalization, and spacing of your text. It's confusing at best; and

  • 2) You are not helping Spanish learners because you failed to use correct accent marks, which makes each of those words misspelled.

In the future, please try to be a bit more respectful of this learning site and use proper grammar and writing in your posts. Thanks for helping us make this a wonderful place to learn!!

Im renting a place in México, thank you for your help. I know the rules of the accents and stuff but no one writes like that down here. Thanks for correcting my poor Spanish though. - dave101

Hi Dave, do you mean that the majority of people in Mexico don't bother to use tildes when they write? I may be reading your comment incorrectly.

It's not only Mexicans, if it were in my hands, more than half of high school students would not graduate for not knowing how to write - diagonx, Aug 17, 2012

If you want your post corrected, let me tell your Spanish is not bad at all Just a few details Muchisimas gracias. Cual es la direccion.... Por favor, enviame mas fotos de las recamaras.... Everything else is perfect Just a sugestion :If you are renting or buying in Mexico the use of the word colonia is perfect. I doubt is used anywhere else I think you can safely omit it and with the address the other person will provide you with ciudad, pueblo o colonia

I don't agree since the use of tildes and punctuation marks is very important for a learner, and you're skipping over all that - diagonx, Aug 16, 2012

I don't see a reason for you to be sorry, I'm just expressing my thoughts on why that paragraph is far from perfection, like the Spanish spoken/written by most people nowadays - diagonx, Aug 17, 2012
Slivia, please read your PM. - --Mariana--, Aug 17, 2012
