BLeS - La - SyL #1 * * new game * *

I have been collecting aphorisms, proverbs, lines from songs, quotes, .... for as long as I can remember, but the other day my imaginary book of texts got attacked by a vicious bunny who tried to eat some of the words.
After a short struggle I managed to get all syllables back, but I need your help to put them back into the sentences.

Here are the rescued syllables:

BRAS - CIAS - CIR - CUN - DE - DRA - ES - JU - LA - PA - PE - PIE - POR - RAN - STAN - TE - TUD - VEN - ZA

and here are the incomplete sentences:

Please, please, please, complete these sentences with the missing words, composed of the rescued syllables.

Mind you:
- I have put them in alphabetic order.
- Each syllable is used only once.

To show you what I need you to do, I solved the first one myself:
(1) Yo soy yo y mis CIR-CUN-STAN-CIAS.

Remaining (rescued) syllables:

BRAS - DE - DRA - ES - JU - LA - PA - PE - PIE - POR - RAN - TE - TUD - VEN - ZA

Everybody is invited to play (apart from Mr Google and friends) & I wish you all good luck!

You played it well, but your answer is incorrect, alas. There is no syllable 'bras' ;-) - mcl020, Aug 16, 2012
But you did combine those syllables very well! - mcl020, Aug 16, 2012
There is a syllable above called "bras" but not "bra." - crazy_for_sugar, Aug 16, 2012
Remaining (rescued) syllables: B R A S ? - --Mariana--, Aug 16, 2012
I cannot spend too many 'words' on answering this, for fear of giving another 'word' away ;-) - mcl020, Aug 16, 2012

So, we still have to solve sentences 2, 4 and 5, with the following syllables:
BRAS - ES - JU - LA - PA - PE - RAN - TUD - VEN - ZA

Now that Marianne has solved sentence #3, we are left with the following syllables:

BRAS - DE - ES - JU - LA - PA - PE - POR - RAN - TE - TUD - VEN - ZA

Hint: pa-la-bra was extremely close to one of the words we are looking for here!
