Spanish equivalent of "as"

I don't think there is a direct translation but how do you express 'as' in spanish? E.g. "Not as good as your spanish".

For comparisons you can use "tan ... como" as the equivalent of the English phrase "as ... as" and just make it negative by adding 'no' to the beginning of the whole phrase.

No (es) tan bueno como tu español.

If it's just 'as' by itself and not as a comparison - 'como' is the usual word.

Quiero hablarte como amigo.

I want to talk to you as a friend.
