If you were commanding yourself to do something, what tense would you use? In other words, when people are talking to themselves, would you use the third person singular tense or what?
Thanks!

In a Spanish book I'm reading, when the main character thinks a command to herself, she uses the informal tú command.
So I would assume you would also use the informal tú commands.
Azabache, you are exactly right. I will be sure that you get a vote.
¡Siéntate!, Viejito
Sit down, Viejito.
Or...just simply...¡Sientate! Sit down!
Viejito...¡cállate!
Viejito...shut up.
Or...just simply...¡Callate! Shut up!
