Transitive + Reflexive Infinitive...?

Transitive + Reflexive Infinitive...?

I was just wondering what to do in a situation where you have a transitive verb such as "hacerle a alguien" plus a reflexive infinitive such as "ducharse" using the same pronoun. For example:

Me hace + ducharme.

OR

Nos hicieron + peinarnos.

And what if the verb phrase contains a preposition, such as:

Te mandé a + lavarte.

Is it OK to have two of the same pronoun (I know they're not exactly the same, one is an object pronoun and the other is reflexive, but the same word) in one sentence? And does it matter whether or not there is a preposition in the verb phrase?

Thank you so much for your help!

I don´t understand completely the question, but you have the first two correct, ie: Mi mamá me hizo ducharme." "Nuestros padres nos hicieron peinarnos."

The third, however, should use "mandar" not "enviar," which is to send something as in the mail and not to send someone to do something, so ie: "Te mandé a lavarte."

I'm sorry it was unclear...I'm not very good at explaining...what I meant to say is: is it all right to have two of the same pronoun in the same sentence. - PumpkinCalabaza, Aug 13, 2012
But thank you so much for answering my question :) - PumpkinCalabaza, Aug 13, 2012
Yes, Pumpkin, it´s alright and necessary because the person being acted upon by second verb in your examples still needs to be identified - 005faa61, Aug 13, 2012
Ok thank you so much for helping. I was wondering, since it sounds rather redundant to me, but thank you for clarifying that. - PumpkinCalabaza, Aug 13, 2012
