All of the answers I read here are acceptable ways to say "to dance his arse off," but they are not really idioms where "to dance ones arse off" is. A common idiom for the same thing, but not quite as colorful would be "bailar a la bestia."
Annie is absolutely right. Plus, most people learning a new language seem to have a natural curriosity about its "bad words" and are going to learn them one way or another. It´s better to learn these words in a protected enviroment than on the street.
Bailar hasta desmayarse - Bailar hasta quedar agotado - Bailar sin parar - Bailar hasta reventarse... As you can see, no body parts have been mentioned and the right meaning has been conveyed... A buen entendedor, pocas palabras bastan.
Thank you all ! My sentense contains a bad word, I see ... However, I came across it while I was learning English. I just put my question here because I didn't find the answer elsewhere.
We obviously can't post this because the translation will probably contain a similar unsuitable word you have "asterisked". Therefore the answer will contain ******* which would mean nothing to you. However, changing your word you could have.
He danced the night away - Bailó durante toda la noche
Bailó como un maniaco. Bailó tanto como pudo.
