Can anyone tell me what "pipicha" is? I am translating a recipe and it calls for 1 manojo de pipicha but I have no idea what that is and I cannot find it in the dictionary. Thanks!

Manojo as you probably know is a handful and (thanks to Wiki)
Pipicha (Porophyllum tagetoides) is a sunny short-lived perennial plant used in Mexican cooking, where it is often used to flavor meat dishes. It has a strong taste akin to fresh cilantro with overtones of lemon and anise.1 In some Mexican markets fresh and dried material is available for sale as a condiment. It is also used as a medicinal herb.[2]

The picture above is not pipicha that is called papalo and you eat it along with your food pipicha looks some what like dill and is used to give your food more flavor
I'm going to put in my two centavo's worth. Papalo and pipicha are the same thing according to what I learned from my relation to my suegra--who knows "everything" about Mexican cuisine.
Here's a picture.

Now here's an article about Oaxacan pipicha It does look different.
Now here's the picture.
