"No me acuerdo" or "No recuerdo"?
Which one of these means "I don't remember"? If they both mean the same thing, which is more common to use in conversation?

In my experience they are used interchangeably and I haven't seen any preference for one over the other.
Personally, my family who are native spanish speakers use No me acuerdo.
I find no recuerdo is more common here in Baja.
Isn't one saying I don't remember while the other says I don't agree.
According to my Spanish teacher both are possible, but you can't mix them up. No me recuerdo but 'recuerdo', and no acuerdo but ' me acuerdo'.
