The world has started to allow people to use their birth given names. Suppose I spoke some misterious language which translated your name to…”Some young person”.

While visiting my country, you stepped in front of moving traffic. To warn you of possible injury or death…I yelled “Some young person”. Do you think that I would get your attention? Probably not.

Each of our names are sacred to us. They should be honored and respected by other nationalities.

A world wide effort is currently under way…to educate all people. People should learn how to pronounce your name as you do…the same as you should honor theirs.

And effort at the current Olympics…is under way.

Besides, you have a beautiful name.

Some names do not have a Spanish equivalent. I would have thought that your name would be the same in both languages.
