"spread out"
Hey, how would you say "spread out" in these contexts? I'm familiar with most of the ways to say spread but I don't know which one works for these:
"The branches of that tree are really spread out."
"My family is really spread out throughout the US."
"The papers were spread out all over the table."
Or maybe there's a different way to say it without spread? Still trying to train my brain to not directly translate....thanks!

Hello Ashlite, that´s an interesting phrasal verb and I´m working on that. This phrasal verb basically means "extender", but it could change depending on the context. Let´s see the traslations:
Las ramas de ese árbol están muy extendidas.
Mi familia está extendida por todos los Estados Unidos. (In this case you can use "dispersa" instead of "extendida").
Los papeles se extendieron por toda la mesa. (In this case you can use "esparcieron" instead of "extendieron").
