Does the fear of having panic attacks cause you to avoid going into certain situations?

I hope that's just a question..and not a reality:) - viejito, Aug 3, 2012
- riverphoenix1970, Aug 3, 2012
Hmm... well, I don't go to theme parks will roller coasters anymore. Panic attacks suck! - DJ_Huero, Aug 3, 2012
Jeje, by the way, viejito's answer hit the nail on the head. - DJ_Huero, Aug 3, 2012

Surely it would not be the fear of having a panic attack , but the attack itself,

which would render you incapable .

I was not meaning to make light of this question because I know how devastating these attacks can be , I think the wording is wrong as you point out viejito ,thank you . - ray76, Aug 3, 2012

I realize that “going into” sounds right…but it is very coloquial. It’s sort of like what we southerners do when we say “you all” instead of “you”

I’m very guilty of that usage also… I use going into all the time…whoops!

So, I really like what ray76 asked. As such, you might want to reword your question altogether. You make the choice.

Are panic attacks the cause of fear that makes you avoid certain situations?

Is the fear of having panic attacks the cause that makes you avoid certain situations?

Good luck. It's a weird choice. But, I'm sure that you will decide which is right for yousmile

I like Viejito's answer to best describe what you are trying to say in English....
