I need to translate "on call", as in "if you have a problem after hours contact the on-call agent", where the "on call" agent varies depending on which agent is "on call", or available in case needed.

de guardia if it is for assistance, such as medical. otherwise, perhaps: contacte al centro de llamadas?

As annie says "estar de guardia" or "estar disponible" would equate "to be on call".

Also, on duty can be translated as "de turno." El médico de turno= the doctor on duty
