I know "you are right" is "tienes razón."

But how do I say "you are half right"?

Estas parcialmente correcto/a es perfecto Annierats tienes el acento en la letra equivocado, el acento va en la o ( todas las teminaciones on llevan acento en la o) All the answers are acceptable

I was going to say, "Tienes razón en parte," but not quite sure about that.

This is what the dictionary had:

You're half right -> Tienes razón a medias

Ok, just did a Google search and the "en parte" form seems pretty popular. I'd assume it's acceptable as well. - Goldie_Miel, Jul 26, 2012

Tienes la mitad de razón

Or : Estás media equivocado. ( un poco equivocado might sound better)

I would simply say, "tienes razón, más o menos." That would indicate they have the idea but not all of it. Other than that, I would say both Ian and Goldie Miel's answer would be the most common here (not that the others are wrong). =]

You could put it in a different way - example

You got half of it right.

Tienes la mitad de la cosa bien.

Tienes la mitad correcto.(maybe)
