diga vs digo usage, which is correct

Sorry for the typo. On my previous question.
I am confused (as always it seems) But, both words so similar. When I translate w/ Spanishdict it "SEEMS" that the two words are interchangeable. Is this possible? I will end this by saying, Yo digo, y gracias.
