Learning Through Spanish TV

Question

hi. I've been lookin for good spanish tv shows that i could watch as a way to practice, but I really haven't found much geared toward a younger audiance. can anyone suggest any websites/ tv shows that are good? thanks.

By younger, do you mean kids or teenagers? If you want shows for kids, go with Mariana's suggestion or check Candy Candy in youtube. It's dubbed in Spanish. - cheskasullivan, Jul 17, 2012

I definitely agree with Mariana's suggestions, and here's a few more if you'd like them. 1) Channel 6 is all-Spanish - even if you can't understand it's great to just listen and absorb the information 2) Check your local library for kids books in Spanish 3)TV is great, but try to really practice. Try having a conversation with a Spanish teacher or Spanish-speaking friend 4) IO has some kids shows from Nickelodeon on Demand 5) For more exposure, try listening to some Spanish music if you have an iPod

Hi!

First, I'd suggest going to Blockbuster and renting things like Madagascar, Finding Nemo, Ice Age, etc., because everyone loves those movies. They all have a Spanish sound track.

Second, I haven't seen anything on Hulu TV for a younger audience, but perhaps there is and I just having noticed.

Finally, you can stream movies from Netflix's foreign film section.

El Internado. It's a Spanish television drama about a group of teenagers sent by their parents to boarding school.

Please let me know if you can find a good streaming website because Antena3 took down all the videos from youtube. Copyright infringement. :(
