I purchased a book called: A New Reference Grammar of Modern Spanish fifth edition by John Butt & Carmen Benjamin Hodder Education - AN HACHETTE UK COMPANY ISBN: 978 1 444 13769 9
I bought this book at Books-a-Million. Although I'm just a beginner when it comes to Spanish grammar, this book looks like it would address just about any question I could every possibly have.
Hope this helps!
Collins easy Learn Spanish is a good book to start with!
There is a series of workbooks called "Practice Makes Perfect" that is very good. Offhand, I don't recall the publisher or author.
I use Schaum's Outline of Spanish Grammar. It's pretty good in my opinion and I like the fact that it isn't very thick like some of the other grammar books I've seen. I also use online references (StudySpanish.com and About.com) when I don't have the book with me.
Adding on, if you are looking for a book that takes you further, i recommend you to try the Study Spanish Beyond the Basics. Its says that it is one of the most distinguished books to learn from....no joke. From what i see, the book lives up to its statement!
MUST TRY!!!

Someone suggested this book as an answer to Should I Quit SpanishDict ??? I downloaded the PDF of it and here is the 4shared site you can download it too. I have not started reading yet but at a glance I think it is worth reading.

As Noetol said, "Practice Makes Perfect" is a good series for memorization (plenty of exercises).
I use "Verb Tenses" and "Pronouns and Prepositions". I would recommend them. They are not advanced, but cover the basics well.
As an example, in "Pronouns and Prepositions", I could not find reference to attachment of pronouns to affirmative imperatives, or gerunds. I also could not find "sí" defined as a pronoun. I have the first edition, there is a second edition available.
I would still buy them, they are not expensive, and the exercises really helped me. I like to do the exercises along with "Span¡shD!ct" lessons. Works well together.
