Siempre Que vs Mientras

Siempre Que vs Mientras

The translation of "as long as" looks to be either "siempre que" or "mientras".

Is my translation correct? Is there any distinction between the two, or are they totally interchangeable?

Actually the correct term in this case in particular is not "mientras" is "mientras que", but yes "mientras que" and "siempre que" both means "as long as" as you correctly guessed.

PS: "mientras" and "siempre" without the "que" doesn´t mean the same thing.
