There is an old salsa song by El Gran Combo de Puerto Rico with this chorus, and I also heard the phrase in a Victor Manuelle song. Literally, I think this would be something like "you did witchcraft to me."

Is this similar to the English expression "you put a spell on me" or does it mean something else?
