As an ESL instructor, I run into this all the time. One of our functions is to instruct the students in how to fill out forms, expectations for employment, and what to expect in interviews. Most of the time, our students are monolingual Spanish speakers, and many times have only two or three years of formal education. To say the least, it is a challenge.

If you speak only Spanish, I would advise you to find some who is bilingual to help you with applications, and do some mock interviews.

Apply at a Mexican restaurant or another Latino organization where you could work a position that doesn't require customer interaction. wink
