Two questions about "récord"
I read an article today whose headline was "El tráfico de hachís en el Estrecho alcanza cifras récord..."
In the SpanishDict dictionary, "record" does not have a tilde.
Why isn´t it "cifras recordes"?

When talking about a performance record, it should have an accent mark "récord."
Why isn´t it "cifras recordes"?
Great question...I'm not sure! I would think that "cifras de récord" (record numbers) would be another option?
P.s. Whenever you have a question about whether a word exists, whether it comes with an accent mark, etc., check the R A E. It the Bible of the Spanish language.
