Comment notification not working

Question

I'm not sure how or where to let the powers that be know but I have noticed for quite some time now that I no longer receive notifications when a comment is left on any of my posts. This used to be quite a useful feature as it saved me from sifting through my posts to see if any corrections/suggestions were given.

Is this a glitch or has the feature been removed? Also where are the smileys? I see funny little question boxes now appear in their places and I'm finding it hard to express myself jeje

I concur with the smiley problem. I just noticed the little box after my answer. I don't know how to report the problem because the feedback button isn't there anymore. At least not in my new browser (Firefox) - 0095ca4c, Jul 10, 2012

Hi KiwiGirl, I believe you have to tick off the box to 'watch this question' in order to receive notifications about answers and comments. I received some notifications yesterday, so I think the program is functioning ok. Cheers!

Thanks Margherite, yes you're right and that's fine if you start the post but if you're just answering then the comments on your answer used to come through automatically but they don't seem to any more :( - Kiwi-Girl, Jul 10, 2012
