"Soy para ti" y "Eres para mi"

I've heard these phrases in love songs before. Taken literally, they would be "I am for you" and "you are for me." In context, it sounds like it means "you're made for me" or something to that effect. Can anyone tell me the English equivalent of these?

Tamara, I think your translation is good.
In English we are more likely to say "You were made for me" and in Spanish "Eres para mí."
