Can you help me with the nouns

There are simply too many words to list them here.

I suggest you start a list or flashcards with the most common words around your house, e.g.,

Casa = house

Mesa = table

Tenador = fork

Azucar = sugar

You may laugh but my wife labeled various parts of our rented house before we got this place with simple words or phrases using postit notes eg: cuarto de baño, la cocina la escalera and so on. She also labeled various objects and had phrases for answering the phone= phone vocab magneted to the fridge. She can now with some 6 months time here go out to the shops on her own carry out simple conversations and even make jokes so I'd so, go for it! Of course, she is a highly intelligent woman who happens to be looking over my shoulder at the moment

I have heard this is a great idea labelling common things in your house. You then see the word written and you think Spanish whenever you look at it. - RichSean1725, Jul 7, 2012
