Practice not being too literal #16
As my title says, I am trying to learn to not be literal in translations, so every day I will post a saying in English and ask for suggestions as to how to convey the thought in Spanish. At the end of the day, I will pick the answer that I think most accurately reflects the idea, and I will choose it as best answer for 20 points to the respondent.
Today's phrase is, "I wash my hands of it."

A mi no me metan en sus asuntos. Don't get me into your affairs.
No me embarren con su mugre. Don't daub me with your dirty.
Yo me mantengo al margen de todo eso. I keep myself at the edge of all that.
No quiero nada que ver con eso,
I don't want anything to do with it.
Las cosas pasan. No es mi problema.

Desentenderse de algo = to want nothing to do with.
Dos opciones más, una literal "¡Yo me lavo las manos!" y otra no literal "¡A mí ni me mires!" 
"Para mí, ya no son sucias las manos. / My hands are no longer dirty from this."
(assuming one was involved in something shady or even criminal in the original English expression).
