Nicole you have been there for us all so often I do not think I could have managed without

your constant insistence that I persevere , the guidance that you gave us when we most

needed help , and always that quiet charming manner which made us feel that we

belonged to a warm caring family , your faith became our faith , your love was our love ,

and I know that in all this time you had your own battles to fight , but you never let

us become aware of your pain , that is the mark of a great and understanding woman.

Thank you to all of my forum friends!!! Your friendship and kindness over the past few years has truly been inspirational. You have not only added fun and humor to the language learning process, but many of you have become friends I can turn to for encouragement in my daily life. I have heard several times that to learn a new language, a personal connection is extremely important. I originally joined the forum to look up a few words and watch a video or two. I never could have imagined three years ago how many quality people I would have met!!

Congratulations Nicole, you have been a wonderful help to me since I first encountered you on this forum, and you have been the same to so many other people as well. Your Encouragement Island thread embodied the idea of working through our struggles with learning a new language by sharing the difficulties. Although I do not think I posted on it, I did read it, and gained the encouragement of knowing that everything I was struggling with, someone else was as well. You are truly marvelous.
