What is the English translation of 'Yo no estoy en tu casa.' According to the Google translator is means 'I'm not at home', but isn't that 'Yo no estoy en casa. Does 'Yo no estoy en tu casa' mean 'I'm not at your house?

Tenés que estudiar. Es una traducción muy literal. Yo = I (usualmente no es necesario usarla debido a que es vinculada con el verbo) Estoy = I am - en = in - tu = your - casa - house. - ruiseñor, Jul 4, 2012
Thanks SinsonteCero. Can you put your comment in English? I am only in Spanish l. I was doing an Exercise at 'Learn Spanish' and copied what they wrote. - Maria-Russell, Jul 4, 2012
Además, no = negación - de "I am" a "I am not" (soy de los EE.UU. - La mejor lugar en todo el mundo) - ruiseñor, Jul 4, 2012
The translation is very literal. Yo = I (usually omitted due to the fact that it's linked with the verb) - Estoy = I am - en = in - tu (sin tilde - withouth tilde) = your - casa = house - ruiseñor, Jul 4, 2012

The lesson here is not to use one translator. Put the same statement into our translator and you will get three answers. From this you can see that there is an anomoly and you can make a better judgment.
