En la panadería

Just sharing class dialogues with my SD friends. Leave a vote, answer, or a comment to let me know if this is helpful to you. As long as someone wants to see these, I'll keep posting them.

This week: If you have a favorite bread where you are from, could you post a picture & give the name of it? I think this could be helpful since most Central & South American countries have a panadería with a good choice of fresh bread with local names for them.

Diálogo #21 - En la panadería

I. Por kilo

II. Por unidad

X: Hola, buenos días.

Yo: Hola, quisiera cuatro marraquetas y una baguette.

X: ¿Algo más?

Yo: ¿A cuánto están las sopaipillas?

X: A $100 (pesos) cada una.

Yo: Entonces déme 10 sopaipillas.

X: ¿Cuánto es?

Yo: Serían $2,300 (pesos) en total.

X: Tome, muchas gracias.

III. ¿Hay pan?

X: Buenas tardes.

Yo: Hola ¿queda pan?

X: Sí, quedan dobladitas y pan integral.

Yo: ¿Pan amasado no queda?

X: No, pero en cinco minutos más va a salir pan amasado del horno.

Yo: Bueno, espero entonces.

I have 2 classes a week and try to post sometime after each one. Glad they are helpful. - katydew, Jun 26, 2012
I should mention that I'm more interested in conversational Spanish than grammar... although, of course, grammar is important too. I just need to understand what I'm hearing and be able to answer. - katydew, Jun 26, 2012

Thanks Mariana. I'm going to figure out why the tutor always ends En que questions with 'lo" and not 'le'. - katydew, Jun 26, 2012

I love this bread. I buy the little panecillos, mix some shredded spinach, seasoning and cream cheese and it makes a great sandwich. - katydew, Jun 26, 2012
