Simple descriptive sentences.

descriptive adjectives link

The second Learn Video lesson on the SD site is: Descriptions using adjectives. So let's practice using very basic adjectives to describe someone or something.

huge list of common adjectives

Here is the exercise: Write a very simple sentence describing something or someone in both Spanish and English. Review the lesson if you need to. You can post as many as you would like but must wait until one other person posts before you. Click "Newest" to see the last post. Adding pictures helps other learners have a visual to learn faster.

Remember that the adjectives must match in gender and number. Help each other with corrections. I'm only a bit above a beginner myself.

Spanish Learn Lesson 1.2

Here is an example: Ella es delgada. She is thin.

Hi Md11! Glad you tried the exercise! Muy=very (an adverb that goes with adjectives) and mucho=many (goes with nouns like mucho dinero). So, "Él es muy loco y muy alegre (or feliz)". Well done. - katydew, Jun 26, 2012
Can you add the English translation too? Thanks. - katydew, Jun 26, 2012
Sorry for the mistake. Mind was a bit blurry. - md11, Jun 26, 2012

Pero hay muchas más diferencias entre los dos.

The man on the left is short and the man on the right is tall.
But there are many more differences between these two.
