Best or Most
When forming a Spanish superlative which is the best construction - "Juan es el más inteligente", "Juan es inteligentísimo" or "Juan es el más inteligentísimo"?
1 Answer
Well the first "Juan es el más inteligente" is John is the most intelligent (smartest).
I believe the second "Juan es inteligentísimo" is John is very intelligent.
The third I think is incorrect "Juan es el más inteligentísimo". This would say John is the most very intelligent.
