Instead of using so many keys each time you need to use accent marks do following steps:

Control panel - Regional and language Setting - languages- Details - setting - Add - Select Key Board Layout/IME - In drop down meny select United States-international. Select Apply ......

After you do it you only press once shift + control keys simulteneously and then wheneveryou need to use any accent mark or even reverse question mark just press right alt key + ? = ¿. Any any accent mark can be used just using left alt key like left alt + u = ú

But some times effect of (shift + control (left)) keys goes off so you have to press again shift and control in order to use accent marks agains.

This will help sve time once you are habituated to use it.

Look at the bottom of the box when you are answering a question. You can find it there. Alternatively, holding down the ALT buttom whilst typing 168 may work.

Pressing ALT key simultaniously type 168 does not work. Thanks for both suggestion. - mhalispanish, Jun 27, 2012

Whilst Pravin's post is an accepatble long term solution you should be aware that the Spanish keyboard installation can effect some English programmes. I use Sage Accounting Business package on my computer and it was several months before I discovered that the keyboard was interferring with Sage.
