translate please. the translater keeps giving me You put the jackets? which doesn't sound right.

As a little explanation, "ponerse" is often used for the English "to wear" or "to put on". The phrase is conjugated in the preterit second person informal so this is past action.

"Did you wear jackets?" or "Did you put on jackets?" is, I believe, the meaning of the phrase.
