I am looking for a specific phrase that I saw today but perhaps there are others as well. Let's see what you all come up with.

Date/dese cuenta por ti/usted mismo/misma. or Vé por ti mismo/misma. I would use the first one.

Very good. I especially like the use of "vé" as the imperative of Ver as it is not used very often. What I am looking for also uses an imperative form with a compound verb. - gringojrf, Jun 21, 2012

Hmmm... I believe that is more along the lines of "Let me see you" or "Show yourself." I would suggest "Ve lo por ti mismo." - dus_man_3, Jun 21, 2012

Okay here is a clue. It does not contain mismo as all but it does use an imperative verb form in a compound verb.
