What are the differences between bolso and bolsa?

Hey, Melissa.
This is how I have noticed the difference in the two words (which I continue to confuse all the time).
Bolso -- purse, pocketbook, handbag
Bolsa -- plastic, canvas, etc., bag for groceries and other purchases.
